Pula Golf club is situated in Levante in the north east of the island of Mallorca, near Son Servera and the bay of Cala Millor. Pula is a young course that has achieved much recognition in a short time. Built in 1995 and designed Francisco Lopes Segales, this 18 hole par 72 course has undergone many changes in its short history in 2001, 12 holes were changed, in 2002 six more holes were changed. From 2003-2007, Jose Maria Olazabal completely redesigned the course, and it is now the only PGA European Tour venue on the island. Pula Golf Club is a par 70 and is 6849 yards making it the longest and the most demanding course in Mallorca.
The width of the fairways at Pula gives a pleasant sensation of open space and will appeal to big hitters, although they should watch out for a number of hazards not always visible, from the tee. The course fits beautifully with the landscape and offers stunning panoramas over sea and mountains. The tropical climate means that the course is playable all year round and visitors are always welcome.
The Pula Golf Complex has everything to meet the golfers needs, including a two tier driving range, short game area and a beautiful Clubhouse/Hotel renovated from an old farmhouse, dating back to 1581. At the end of your dinner at Pulas gastronomic centrepiece, the S'Era de Pula restaurant provides a real treat. During the Mallorca Classic the restaurant doubles as a VIP and players hospitality area overlooking the final green. Pula Golf Club has hosted many important tournaments and events, in 2007 from the 25th-28th October it will be hosting the European Tours Mallorca Classic. The event was previously held her in 2003
